Victoria S. Asbury-Kimmel
I am a Faculty Fellow/Assistant Professor at New York University. I received my PhD in Sociology from Harvard University.
Broadly, I am interested in intergroup relations, nationalism, and public opinion. I draw on a range of quantitative methods and data sources, including original behavioral games and survey experiments.
My research lies at the intersections of cultural sociology, social psychology, and political science.
My current research explores how different racial groups define American identity and perceive the American national hierarchy, and how political discourse about immigrants shapes those attitudes.
